The AX-0009 is a user interface, eight scene, digital remote for use with the Lightronics Architectural series. User operation is simple (eight numbered scene buttons and a blackout). LED output drivers always display the current scene. The unit is available in chassis or Printed Circuit Board version. The unit communicates with the AR-1202 via a 4 wire bus which will accommodate multiple architectural stations. All AX-0009 wiring is low voltage.

When a scene is selected, the AR-1202 fades at a user controlled rate to that scene. A blackout button is also provided to shut off all scenes. The AR-1202 dimmer can be user programmed to invoke other types of operation in response to AX-0009 signals.

Scenes to be activated by the AX-0009 must have already been created and stored in the AR-1202. Scene numbers are determined by the address switch of the AX-0009. No setup or turn on procedure is needed. When the AR-1202 dimmer is powered on, the AX-0009 will also be powered. Communication with the AX-0009 is automatically established.
